This was an A3 pencil drawing commissioned by Genine Oberholzer Rabie of herself, her dog and her horse, “Dagbreek”. I originally tried it as a full landscape, then abandoned it and switched to this version. She additionally commissioned another work of a horse that was stolen from her property many years before.
