This was an A4 pencil drawing of Alison Scarr’s beautiful Newfoundland Boy, Bumpo. Tanneth Bern had fun photographing Alison’s dogs in her house, and she caught Bumpo having dipped his mouth in the pool. I loved the combination of wet and dry long haired dog fur to draw. I was very fortunate to do many of Alison’s special animals.
