18 hours in the making, this pencil drawing on sketch paper of an upside down dog was my contribution to the Saints Animal Charity art competition to raise funds for animal charities during the “Lock down” period in South Africa as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. I turned this one around pretty quickly because I had a tight deadline to complete it in for the competition. Sadly the pet owner didn’t want the final drawing, so I have put it up for sale.

I really enjoyed doing this one, I chose this goofy character’s photo deliberately so I could draw lots of expressive eye and mouth.

It was very popular on the site fortunately, and I have offered to donate a voucher for a pet portrait to them in future.
