28 hours in the making, this is my very first A5 commission, graphite pencil on drawing cartridge.

This is Maricha Dankaert’s “Zieshwa”, a beautiful little Jack Russell Terrier with a side order of fluff. Maricha has commissioned a set of 3 drawings to honour the memory of her little dog, who has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge, and this is the first. I am not really a fan of the “A” size paper aspect ratio, so I have recommended that she cut it to a square. I will be interested to see the final triptych framed.
