This is one of the only pure acrylic paintings that I have done to date, albeit that it was the first medium I experienced at school. This work was one of many layers first of paint and finally of glazes to achieve that shimmering quality of the water and the depth at which the trout was relative to the stream bed.

I loved doing this work, and it was a huge learning experience for me pertaining to the versatility and beauty of acrylics
