30 hours in the making, this C130 Hercules pencil drawing on A4 drawing cartridge was done from a particularly beautiful photo sent to me by the client who requested it as a Christmas present for her father.

I chose to work on cartridge paper because I thought its inclination to smudge the darker pencils would work well for the water effects. In the photo the aircraft had quite deep shadows on it, which I toned down a little for this drawing.
