In contrast with the other works I did for Andrew O’Flaherty of Air-Tec, this is an A4 pencil drawing on drawing cartridge. While the other works were done on a very rough paper, drawing cartridge is a very smooth paper, inclined to smudge in truth, but I thought it would work well for this unusual piece with a large region of shadow. It was commissioned by Andrew to be reproduced for staff members of long standing leaving the company, with a view to leaving a message in the bottom region.

The logo was surprisingly tricky, I draw better than I write in truth.
